Hours and Times of Availability of Instructional Staff

Courses are open access to students 24/7. Instructors are available to students and their families from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m EST. Monday through Friday via Maestro email,  Zoom® sessions (lessons conducted in real-time over the Internet) and telephone. Teachers grade online student work within 24 hours of completion, and portfolio items within one week on the same basis as stated above. Students have 24/7 access to their grades and teacher comments on their school work through the grade book in Maestro® (the student information system).

Teachers also hold office hours by appointment, students and families are encouraged to use this service as needed.

Teacher to Student Ratios

The average student/teacher ratio for courses is 25:1. Teachers have an average of 100 students assigned to them.

For the 2016–17 school year, 100% of teachers had satisfactory or better evaluations.
